Account Deletion Instructions
You can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and removes your profile and content from MyGrid.
- In the app, go to your profile and open Edit Profile.
- Scroll to the Danger zone and select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
Third-Party Services
Our service integrates with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube through their APIs. Your use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies. We also use Stripe for payment processing, which handles payment information according to their privacy policy.
Google User Data Disclosure
When you connect your YouTube account, our application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data as described below. This disclosure is provided in accordance with Google's API Services User Data Policy.
How We Access Google User Data
We access your Google user data through the YouTube Data API v3 with the following scopes:
- youtube.readonly - Read-only access to your YouTube account information and videos
We only access your data after you explicitly grant permission through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.
How We Use Google User Data
We use the Google user data we access solely for the following purposes:
- To retrieve your YouTube channel information (username, profile picture, subscriber count)
- To import your YouTube videos and their metadata (title, description, thumbnail, view count, like count, comment count, publication date)
- To display your YouTube content in your portfolio on our platform
- To authenticate and maintain your account connection with YouTube
- To refresh your content periodically to keep your portfolio up-to-date
We do not use your Google user data for advertising purposes, nor do we use it to build advertising profiles or for any purpose other than providing the portfolio service you have requested.
How We Store Google User Data
We store the following Google user data on our secure servers:
- Access tokens and refresh tokens - Encrypted and stored securely to maintain your YouTube account connection
- Channel information - Your YouTube username, channel ID, and profile picture URL
- Video metadata - Information about your YouTube videos that you choose to import into your portfolio
- Video thumbnails and media - Downloaded and stored on our servers for display in your portfolio
All stored data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our service or as required by law. When you disconnect your YouTube account or delete your account with us, we delete all associated Google user data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
How We Share Google User Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data. We share your Google user data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your explicit consent - When you choose to make your portfolio public, the YouTube content you've imported will be visible to visitors of your portfolio
- With service providers - We may share data with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting providers) who assist us in operating our platform, subject to strict confidentiality obligations
- When required by law - We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users
- In business transfers - In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred, subject to the same privacy protections
We do not share your Google user data with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.
Your Rights Regarding Google User Data
You have the following rights regarding your Google user data:
- Revoke access - You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page
- Request deletion - You can request deletion of your Google user data by disconnecting your YouTube account in our app or by contacting us
- Export your data - You can request a copy of all Google user data we have stored about you
- Access your data - You can view what Google user data we have collected through your account settings
